In the vibrant streets of Portugal, I was in awe of the chaotically colourful beauty of the streets. The energy of the graffiti, tiles, posters, stickers and bars sparked a newfound freedom to push my boundaries and experiment with colour, pattern and typography in my design practice.

But it was the National Tile Museum in Lisbon that truly set something alight in me. The tiles, each a masterpiece of intricate patterns and delicious colours, told the story of Lisbon’s rich cultural history. Inspired by their timeless beauty, I created a series of posters that reimagine Lisbon’s heritage, capturing its essence through my own illustrations of the tiles.
